The Language of Beginnings – 2025, 2026
Every ending is followed by a beginning of some kind, which can be understood less as a singular event than as a process — a becoming, a transformation. A kind of transformative entity that remembers where it emerged from. It might be described as a world taking shape in darkness and isolation, reaching into the past, blending it with the present, and giving things new names. It exists on an ambiguous boundary between the animate and the inanimate.
This series of works explores the moment when a new language for the world begins to emerge — a reality arising from a previous order, still in the process of taking shape. Its structure is grounded in a dynamic, creative chaos that reaches back towards the primordial while moving towards self-reflection and an exploration of its own origins.
